Hello, I’m Shana (pronounced Shay-nuh), and I believe the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support. My goal is to help patients feel better, move better, and build lasting health through personalized, compassionate acupuncture care.
My own journey with chronic illness is what led me to acupuncture. After years of navigating specialists, medications, and surgeries, I discovered acupuncture in 2013. Following my very first treatment, I felt more relaxed and experienced less pain than I had in years. That experience changed the course of my life.
Acupuncture became an essential part of my healing, helping me recover after a serious car accident and manage the pain of endometriosis. It gave me a level of relief and resilience that I hadn’t found elsewhere, and inspired me to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine so I could help others experience the same possibility for healing.
Today, I work with patients seeking relief from pain, recovering from injuries, supporting women’s health, improving athletic performance, managing stress, and investing in their long-term wellness. While many people first come to acupuncture because of a specific concern, some of the most meaningful results happen through consistent care. I love partnering with patients who view acupuncture as an investment in their overall health and want to support their well-being over time.
As a neurodivergent practitioner, I understand that every person experiences health differently. I strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable. Every treatment is tailored to the individual because no two bodies, or healing journeys, are exactly alike.
My educational background includes two Bachelor of Science degrees in Health and Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Acupuncture earned through a rigorous four-year, year-round graduate program. I am a board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and maintain my Oregon licensure through ongoing continuing education. I remain committed to expanding my knowledge so I can provide my patients with thoughtful, evidence-informed care grounded in both traditional wisdom and modern understanding.
It is a privilege to be part of my patients’ healing journeys. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, recovering from an injury, navigating a health condition, or simply looking to maintain your health and prevent future issues, I’m here to help you feel your best.
